Volkl has taken their strong and highly durable V-Cell material and embedded it throughout the hoop and shaft of the frame with the V-Cell 9 racquet. There is VTex technology that outfits the butt cap with silicone and polymer that reduces vibration and torque and the Super G grommet system stretches the sweet spot towards the outer edges of the head while supplying power and control beyond the traditional Sweetspot. The variable 24/26/23 cross section gives players added pop and stability and the 10.9 ounce unstrung weight keeps the V-Cell 9 maneuverable. This racquet features a 100 square inch head with 16×19 string pattern for more directional control than the V-Cell 8 racquets while still keeping the comfort and power for faster racquet head speeds.
